Jersey Shore star arrested for disorderly conduct

(WENN) - Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese was arrested on Sunday on a charge of disorderly conduct.

The MTV reality star was handcuffed after police officers in New Jersey reportedly caught her taunting passing cars outside a bar in Seaside Heights, where the show's cast is currently filming the upcoming sixth season.

Local police chief Tommy Boyd tells the NBC New York, "(It was) nothing major, but we can't put up with it."

The 25 year old was released after a few hours in custody.

Cortese isn't the first Jersey Shore star to get in trouble for her boozing - in 2010, her castmate Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi was ordered to complete two days of community service following an arrest for allegedly drinking alcohol in public while filming the hit series' third season.
